Cooking with Sully!

Hey! Hope all you Mommys had a great Mother's Day. Sully and I cooked some yummy brownies on Mother's Day. It was a fun activity to do together. Brett snapped some cute pictures.
Pouring in the ingredients...
Sully did an excellent job stirring!
Now for the fun part! Now we pour in half the brownie mix...
Then put Hershey's dark chocolate pieces on top!
Yummy!
Now pour the rest of the mix on top...
And we were done! Sully had a blast!
This past Thursday, Sully, Ansley and I took Lindsay down to the zoo with us and even met up with Laine! Sully, of course, had a wonderful morning walking around with Lindsay and Laine and was so excited to see all of his animal friends. We go so often that Sully has a little route he likes to follow...he can recall the order of where all the animals are and always knows what animals are coming up before we even get to them. He LOVES the zoo!

Ansley Update!
Ansley is growing so fast! She is really starting to hold her head up well and she is a little rolly poly! She loves to play with her hanging toys on her play mat and has started grabbing at toys and putting them in her mouth! She is so smiley and giggles often. She loves it when Sully is in the room. When he comes in her room in the morning, she looks around and smiles...Sully and Ansley will soon be best buds!
I have started my summer league swim team already! I cannot believe it is already May! I have about 115 kids and we will swim for the next 7 weeks. We even swim against Lindsay's team! Last year we tied, so this year we will hopefully have a clear winner so someone can trash talk! haha
Enjoy the pictures!

Ansley is 4 months old!

Time has just flown by...I cannot believe Ansley is already 4 months old! She went for her check-up and weighs 14 lbs 1 oz. and was 25.5 inches long! What a big girl! She is still a very good eater and a very good sleeper at night. She eats 5 times a day, and she takes 2 good naps (one morning and one in the afternoon) and then a few catnaps in between if we are out and about. She loves sleeping in the car! She is doing really well rolling from her back to her tummy and tummy to back and is always in a completely different position in her crib when we come to get her in the morning. She does great with her "tummy time" and is even starting to grab some toys and play with the hanging toys on her playmat! Sully is very good with her, as well. He enjoys making her smile and giggle and loves to hear her "talk." He is going to be a very good brother to Ansley and they are going to have many fun memories together. Brett and I are really enjoying every minute of our little family!
Last weekend, Brett and I enjoyed a little weekend getaway in Asheville, NC. Grancie and Pip watched the kids and Brett and I spent some time just the two of us. It was a fun weekend for us to relax and not worry about schedules and responsibilites. I don't think Grancie and Pip had much time to relax, though! Lindsay said they were in bed early on Sunday night because they were exhausted! haha

Here are some pictures of Ansley at 4 months. Enjoy!
Hey guys, I'm 4 months old now!
Ansley is not as smiley for the camera as Sully was when he was little. I think, right now, she is very facinated with the camera. I can get her to smile as soon as the camera is away from my face! This is her normal Ansley look!
Time to change a stinky diaper!
This is Ansley's "sweet face"
There's a smile!

This morning Sully, Ansley and I went to the park with some friends. Ansley played on her blanket for about an hour. She finally cashed out her chips and took a little snooze. She was so sweet...I just had to take a picture!

Night, Night!

Brett and I finally finished Ansley's room---about time! The polka dots were a work in progress for awhile and we finally got it right.

Enjoy the pictures!

Sully and Ansley's adventures at Cagle's Dairy Farm!

Hey! The weather over the past week has been perfect! Sunny days in the 70s with cool, crisp evenings! My perfect weather! We took advantage of another beautiful day and went to Cagle's Dairy Farm in North Georgia! Sully was SO excited...he woke up at 430 in the morning this morning asking me if it was time to go yet! I was so surprised to hear him calling me in the middle of the night, so I ran in there and he was sitting straight up in his bed asking me for some water and asking me if it was time to go to the farm. He wanted to know if the animals were awake yet! It was hilarious---I didn't even care that it took me forever to fall back asleep...I was just cracking up at how excited he was to go! I think our visit was everything Sully had imagined because he had a blast. We fed baby cows, went on a hayride, watched the farmers milk a cow, fed some goats, and had a yummy picnic lunch! What a perfect morning! Ansley was very well behaved and even enjoyed the hayride! All the pictures are from our fun morning at the farm.

Ansley Update...Ansley now can roll from her back to her tummy and from her tummy to her back. In little Ansley's world, that is a big milestone! Yeah for Ansley. I have been trying to get some video of her big accomplishment, but she is just like Sully--never performs for the camera. I will keep trying.

Enjoy the pictures from the dairy farm.
While waiting for the fun to begin, Malley and Sully were singing! So cute!

Feeding the baby cows! I was impressed with Sully...he was not scared to feed the cows and normally he is quite cautious.

Sully was having so much fun!
Time for the hayride!
During the hayride, we stopped and a dog herded the cows to the wagon. The cows came right over and ate the hay...Sully and Malley thought that was really fun! The cows were HUGE!
Sully and Ansley enjoyed the hayride! Ansley...watch out for that cow! :)

Enjoy the pictures!

Ansley and Sully's April update!

Hey everyone! We have been LOVING the spring weather over the past few weeks! We had a little cold snap, but mostly pretty and warm days! Sara came to visit during her Spring Break and we went to the zoo, Ansley learned to roll from her tummy to her back, and Sully has been enjoying playing outside! Ansley is now 3.5 months old and she is a very smiley baby! She is on a great schedule with three predictable naps and she sleeps from 830pm to 730 am! Yeah for sleep! She plays a lot when she is awake and has learned to grab toys and is starting to enjoy her "tummy time" a bit more. She is growing so fast!

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks...enjoy!

Visit with Sara! Fun times at the zoo!

Hey, Sara! I'm a panda!

Sully's favorite animal is the elephant and he was VERY excited to visit them with Sara. He talked about the elephants all day!

Ansley enjoyed the elephants, too. Can't you just see the excitement on her face? hahaha! She has been to the zoo three times already since she has been born and she has no clue...oh, all the things Sully will teach her about the animals when she is old enough! Sully is obsessed with animals!

Finally time to get the water table back out!

Cheese!

Ansley!

Tummy Time!

Ansley at 3.5 months (16 weeks)

Ansley is becoming quite fun to play with. She coos and "talks" a lot more than Sully ever did. She giggles and smiles a lot and is VERY squirmy! She is always bobbing her head when you hold her and kicking her arms and legs when on the floor. It is so funny how different she is than Sully was at her age. She is much more busy! :)

Have a great weekend!

Sully's crazy hair!

Hey! Last week was a busy week for Sully and Ansley. We enjoyed many fun adventures and Ansley went through a little growth spurt. She was extra hungry, so that kept Mommy pretty busy! She is starting to be awake a lot more, so we spend a lot more time playing, singing, and reading books. She is starting to try and roll over, and has rolled over once already, but I don't think she meant to do it. She usually just sways a little and then I help her get all the way around. She is doing quite well during tummy time, though, and even posed for some cute pictures. Enjoy!

Could that be a half smile? Ansley rarely smiles during tummy time...it is not her favorite activity! :)
Hey, Mommy!
She tries so hard to get off her tummy and roll on to her back! She will probably learn to roll from tummy to back before back to tummy!
All the exercise wore Ansley out! She was so sweet!
Church Carnival!
While Ansley slept peacefully in the stroller, Sully had a blast at our church's carnival on Saturday morning! He went on a little train ride, played on a huge slide, and even got a cool new hairstyle!
Choo!Choo!
Ready, set....
Go! Sully insisted on going down with his tummy on the slide!
It took a lot of hairspray to get his hair into that mohawk!
That was some wild hair!
Back off ladies, he is MINE! haha Malley had her hair done in pigtails and glitter. What a good looking couple! :)
So proud!

Enjoy the pictures!
