Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from the Palmers! Hope everyone had a great Christmas and that you all have a Happy New Year! We had a fabulous Christmas week! Brett has been off of work since last Wednesday, so we have been enjoying taking family trips to the Y and just hanging out and playing with our new Christmas toys. Brett and I have even busted out the old (original) Nintendo and Playstation 2...that has been quite addicting...I think I see a Wii in our future...maybe Santa will bring us one someday! haha! Brett and I hosted Christmas Eve dinner here for us, Pwetty, Pip, and Zizzie, and then headed off to candlelight service at church. I love Christmas Eve service...it was the perfect way to get in the Christmas spirit and remember the true reason for the season. We had Christmas dinner at Pwetty and Pip's house with Zizzie... Then Christmas morning...Sully and Ansley got everything they asked for from Santa, so it was a great day...Ansley got a princess tent and Sully a scooter and tool kit from Santa...not forgetting all the fun toys and clothes from grandparents, Zizzie, and friends...we have lots to be thankful for...here are some pictures from Christmas...enjoy!
Everyone on Christmas Eve before heading to church. Nice work on the self-timer, Pip! :)
the tent! Santa brought each of the kids an umbrella...I didn't think it would be such a hit...they played with them all day and are still walking around with them...Santa must have known they would be a fan favorite! :)Sully's umbrella
Twister!
Brett and Tracy...it took a lot of will power for Brett not to tickle me when I was in such a compromising position! haha!
Amos got some treats in his stocking and then rested the rest of the morning...not sure if he liked all the noise and stuff everywhere! :)
Zizzie and Ansley were having a very important conversation about that dolphin. :)

Ansley was taking Sully's new scooter for a spin!
Sully was busy all morning with his tools...he had to "fix" everything. :)

That is one big tent! :)

Enjoy the pictures...I will put Ansley's birthday pictures up in a few days. Happy New Year!

What's new?

Happy Holidays everyone! We have been SO busy getting ready for Christmas with singing concerts, class parties, play dates, and a lot of Santa sightings! Sully has asked Santa for a Razor scooter and some tools. Ansley really didn't know what to ask for, but I hear she might be interested in a pop-up princess tent. :) We are going to have such a fun Christmas morning!! :) Here are some pictures from the past month...first some pics from Thanksgiving. We were in KY this year and had a great time. Enjoy the pictures...

While in KY, we visited a pottery throwing place. The kids enjoyed playing with the clay and playing outside with the dog and cat they found wandering around. Leave it to the Palmer kids to find all the animals! :)
Busy, busy!

What is she doing?
During our visit, we got to visit with Uncle Charlie, Aunt Mary, and Great Grandma Helen Louise.

Sully goes to choir every week at church...they had a little concert a few weeks ago...it was really cute. :)

Sully and all his buddies singing!

Zizzie came to cheer Sully on...

Pwetty and Pip wouldn't have missed it...

Sully and Ansley LOVE watching the trash truck on Thursday mornings...on this particular morning, I couldn't help snapping a picture due to Ansley lack of clothing. :)
They each have their own window to look out...
Ansley was hilarious that morning!
We have an elf that has come to stay with us during the Christmas season. Santa sent him to keep an eye on the kids. He leaves each night to go report to Santa. In the morning, when the kids come down, they always find him in a different place...it has been SO fun for the kids to come down and find him each morning. He will go home with Santa on Christmas Eve, so we only have a few more days left to enjoy. It has been fun. :)
Sully gave him two names--Milo and Elfie

Waiting to see Santa at the mall

Ansley wasn't quite sure what to think.

Breakfast with Santa in our neighborhood...we have had many different Santa sightings! :)
Sully was talking very seriously to Santa...he wasn't scared this year. :)
They had a craft at the breakfast...Ansley loved it.

Last weekend while it was SO nasty outside...we made a gingerbread house with the kids. We were quite proud of little Ansley for not eating the candy! :) They had a fun time and the house turned out great! :)
They took their jobs very seriously. :)

Busy!

Enjoy the pictures...I have some more coming with Christmas in only a few days and Ansley's birthday on the 27th...we will have another post soon. Merry Christmas and enjoy this special time with your family. We are SO excited for Christmas morning with Sully and Ansley...they are going to have SO much fun!
