Sully's adventures at Burt's Pumpkin Farm!

Hello! Last Friday, Catey and I took Sully and Malley up to North Ga to Burt's Pumpkin Farm. Sully has been to a few small pumpkin farms this season, but this is our favorite and the same place Sully went last year when we took pictures with the huge pumpkins! The pumpkins are still HUGE, but Sully is not as small so he didn't look as lost in them all as he did last year. He is growing so fast! Sully and Malley had a fabulous morning--we pushed them in a wheelbarrow, they explored all around the big pumpkins, we went for a super fun hayride all through the farm, and we stopped for lunch and icecream on our way home. It was such a fun day! Here are some pictures to enjoy...

Boo!
Hayride!

Sully was getting a little crazy with the hay!
We stopped for lunch on the way home and then let Malley and Sully eat some icecream in the car on the way home so they wouldn't fall asleep and still take a good nap at home---they thought that was so fun!

Big Bite!

While we were waiting for Catey and Malley to pick us up that morning, I snapped a few pictures of Sully goofing around on the front porch.
Goofy Sully!

Sully moved into his new room and has been sleeping in his big boy bed for over a week now! He loves his new room and is very proud to be an official "big boy!" He has not ever tried to get out and sleeps just as well in his new room--in fact, he has been taking longer naps since the switch--Mommy loves that! :) We snapped a sweet picture of Sully on his first night in his new bed.
Sully is so proud of himself!
Have a wonderful weekend! We will be up in the North Carolina mountains with some friends enjoying the beautiful fall weather and taking advantage of a Sully-free weekend! We only have a few more weekends left before we have 2 little Palmers around here! We will also be cheering for those mighty Wildcats of Kentucky on Saturday afternoon! GO CATS!

Yeah for Fall!

Hey everyone! Happy Fall and yeah for nicer weather! Sully has been quite busy over the past few weeks enjoying the outdoors and all the festivities that October and the fall brings! We have been to the zoo, some fun fall festivals, a fun pumpkin patch, and a birthday party at the park! Sully loved going to the zoo last week and still talks about how he touched a goat, heard elephants singing, and saw an alligator! I have taken a lot of pictures of Sully over the past few weeks--none of which he really looked at the camera and smiled, but it gives you an idea of just how busy a Sully has been! The days of Sully sitting still for a nice picture are over for now--maybe he will be better when he gets a bit older---right now he has too much business to take care of! :) Enjoy the pictures!
Trip to Zoo Atlanta--September 27th
Sully turned into a gorilla! :)
Last time we were at the zoo, Sully was scared to sit on the gorillas...not this time! :)
Sully and his buddies at the zoo!
Visit to Kinsey Family Farm--October 4th
Sully is not the only one who won't look at the camera for a good picture! haha We were all calling out names like crazy moms---couldn't really get a great picture of Sully's buddies with the pumpkins, but you get the idea. :)
Malley and Sully!

Jack, Sully, and Sophie on the hayride! Halfway through the hayride, we stopped and walked to a neat little pond where the kids got to feed some huge catfish! Sully still talks about it! He loved throwing that food and watching the fish jump around! The catfish were really big so Sully and his buddies got some really good looks at some really ugly fish! :)
Sully eating cake at Jordan's birthday party!
A large bite for a little Sully!

Yummy!

Alpharetta Scarecrow Festival--October 6th

Arts and crafts time at the festival!

Daddy and Sully were very busy!

There was a neat, little area where kids could draw with sidewalk chalk. Sully was busy creating a masterpiece!

We tried to get Sully to pose for a cute picture--this was the best we could do! :)

Face Painting Time!

Sully loved getting his face painted! He sat very still and waited patiently while the "scarecrow" painted a monkey on the side of his sweet, little cheek! Sully was very proud of his monkey when she was finished!

Sitting very still!

Almost finished...

This weekend, Brett painted Sully's new room and we will be moving Sully in this week! Yeah for a big boy bed! We have talked to Sully a lot about his new room and having a bed instead of a crib--he seems really excited, so we will have to see how it goes this week! Then, we will have the nursery to prepare for Sully's new sister--I start month 7 this week, so only about 10-12 more weeks to go! Time is flying! Have a great week!
