Sully's crazy hair!

Hey! Last week was a busy week for Sully and Ansley. We enjoyed many fun adventures and Ansley went through a little growth spurt. She was extra hungry, so that kept Mommy pretty busy! She is starting to be awake a lot more, so we spend a lot more time playing, singing, and reading books. She is starting to try and roll over, and has rolled over once already, but I don't think she meant to do it. She usually just sways a little and then I help her get all the way around. She is doing quite well during tummy time, though, and even posed for some cute pictures. Enjoy!

Could that be a half smile? Ansley rarely smiles during tummy time...it is not her favorite activity! :)
Hey, Mommy!
She tries so hard to get off her tummy and roll on to her back! She will probably learn to roll from tummy to back before back to tummy!
All the exercise wore Ansley out! She was so sweet!
Church Carnival!
While Ansley slept peacefully in the stroller, Sully had a blast at our church's carnival on Saturday morning! He went on a little train ride, played on a huge slide, and even got a cool new hairstyle!
Choo!Choo!
Ready, set....
Go! Sully insisted on going down with his tummy on the slide!
It took a lot of hairspray to get his hair into that mohawk!
That was some wild hair!
Back off ladies, he is MINE! haha Malley had her hair done in pigtails and glitter. What a good looking couple! :)
So proud!

Enjoy the pictures!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! It was a chilly Easter in Atlanta. I guess with Easter being so early, it was unlikely that we would be able to wear our cute Easter dresses. Ansley and Sully had some really cute clothes to wear, but it was way too cold! It is going to warm up here towards the end of the week, so we are hoping the warm weather will be here to stay. We are ready for Spring!

We had a wonderful Easter. Sully and Ansley must of been good this year because the Easter bunny came to our house and hid lots of eggs and brought some fun Easter basket goodies! Sully had many Easter egg hunts last week. We had one at church, he had one at school, we had one in our neighborhood, at our house on Easter morning, and even at Grancie's house last night. Sully and Ansley were lucky--the Easter bunny came to both our house and Grancie's house yesterday...double the goodies!

Here are some pictures of Sully hunting for Easter eggs in our neighborhood this past weekend. Enjoy!

Mommy, let's go find those eggs!

Go, Sully, Go! Sully and Malley...always together!

Ansley and the Easter Bunny!

Sully is still scared of the Easter Bunny, so Ansley had to sit all by herself...she didn't care...she is very brave! haha

So sweet!

Chrissie and Bob from PA were in town for Easter to visit Grancie, Gramps, and Lindsay and to, of course, see Sully and meet Baby Ansley for the first time. Here are some pictures from their visit and from some activities throughout the weekend.

Sully and Ansley update!

Hello from beautiful, sunny Atlanta! We are having the best weather right now! Today is in the mid 70's and sunny! This is my favorite kind of weather! The buds are starting to come out and soon everything will be covered in yellow...yeah for the start of Spring! We took advantage of the day and went to the zoo with Malley and Laine. It was the PERFECT day--probably one of the nicest days we have ever had at the zoo! Sully, of course, had a fabulous time and Ansely was the perfect little angel. She was awake for some of our visit and enjoyed looking around with those big blue eyes. Here are some pictures from the zoo.
Sully saw the gorillas today and even saw the baby gorillas! They were SO cute!
Sully and Malley were really into the statues today, for some reason. All of the pictures from today are with the statues. Figured we always get pictures of the real animals. Malley and Sully had fun sitting on the lion before we left.
Another shot with another one of Sully's favorite statues!
Ansley's Tummy Time!
Ansley spends a little time each morning and afternoon doing her "tummy time" She doesn't always like it, but it is good for her to work on her neck muscles. She is starting to get pretty good at lifting her head, which is good exercise for a little baby. Here are some shots of Ansley's tummy time.
Ansley had had about enough...but when she gets mad, it makes her lift her head more, so mean Mommy lets her get mad so she will work that neck---otherwise she will just lay there with her head to the side! :)
On this day, she was quite interested in who that was looking at her in the mirror---it kept her entertained for about 10 minutes!
Hey, who is that looking at me, Mommy?
Chubby Ansley!
Ansley is still a VERY good eater and it shows in these pictures. She will be 3 months in about 2 weeks, but is already wearing 3-6 month clothes! Her chubby cheeks are very squeezable! :)
Bath time! Ansley LOVES her baths. Maybe a future swimming superstar? :)
Look at those sweet cheeks? Don't you think they are squeezable? haha
A happy Ansley after a feeding!
Enjoy the pictures and have a great rest of your week! Hope you all are enjoying some nice weather!

Ansley is 2 months!

Hey! If you can believe it, Ansley turned 2 months last week! She is growing like crazy and we feel like time is just flying by! She weighed 12 lbs. 10 oz. and was 23 inches long! The doctor said she was very healthy and growing quite nicely! She is now sleeping well from 10 to 5 and some days she sleeps till 6! Yeah for more sleep! She takes 2 really good naps during the day. The first from 10-12:30/1 and another from about 2 to 330 or 4! I am just glad that I was able to get her to nap for a little while when Sully is napping so I get at least an hour to myself to get things done around the house! She is not great with her afternoon nap everyday, but she is almost 100% of the time asleep for her morning nap which is great for me and Sully. We still get time to spend together and time to get out of the house to do fun activities. Ansley just sleeps in the car seat or the stroller. Here are some pictures of Ansley at 2 months.

Ansley's serious look!
Here are some pictures of Ansley playing on her mat. She is starting to really enjoy looking at the little animals and rattles hanging down. She kicks her legs and moves her arms around with excitement! She makes some pretty funny faces!
Ansley's excited face!

Happy Ansley!
Sully and the potty!
We have started working with Sully on the potty. He does really well going pee pee when you put him on the potty, but he is not great at telling you has to go and telling you he had an accident. After trying for about 3 straight days, we came to the conclusion that he is not quite ready for full potty training, but I do put him on the potty whenever I think he needs to go and we still talk about the potty a lot. He gets a sticker each time he does something on the potty, which is a good motivator for him. We are going to try again with full potty training in April or May. Here are some cute pictures of Sully and the potty.
Sully is SO proud of his big boy underpants. Hey guys, I am going pee pee!
Sully looked so sweet just sitting on his little potty!
Lindsay's 25th birthday!
What could be a better birthday present than a Sully?
Sully at the park!
Monday was sunny and in the 70's so Sully, Ansley and I were at the park all morning and even had a picnic lunch with Molly, Jack and the twins!
Sully was running towards the duck pond to feed the ducks and the fish! He LOVES to bring bread to the park!

Slide time!
The Palmers were in town this past weekend to visit Sully and Ansley. Here is a picture from one of our adventures at the park.

Mommy, Daddy, and Sully on the tire swing!

Enjoy the pictures!
