Happy December!

Yeah for Christmas time! We have been so busy this holiday season with parties and getting ready for our new baby! Any day now! Sully LOVES this time of year! He loves all the lights and Christmas trees. He likes Santa from afar--not too excited about him up close this year---maybe next year :) He does know that Santa will be coming down our chimney to bring presents, and often sits on the couch and tells me he wants to wait for Santa---so sweet!
Here are some pictures from our many adventures this month. Enjoy!

Auntie Kelli's visit to Atlanta...
What a great picture! Sully was very sad to see Kelli leave---he asked about her and still talks about how they did puzzles together.

Bathtime!

Potty Time!
Sully has consistently going potty after his bath at night--we are going to get serious about potty training after Baby P is born and things settle down.

Sully riding the Carousel at the mall...

Cheezy smile!

This morning was Sully's last day of school before Christmas. The 2 year olds had a little performance for the parents and it was hilarious! Most of the kids just stood there with blank stares--Sully, of course, stood there playing with his belly button! The video is so funny! Brett, Grancie, and Gramps were able to steal a few moments away at work to come watch--Sully was proud to have his family there watching!

Sully and all the kids--Sully is on the far right/bottom row

Stage Fright!

After the program, Sully wasn't afraid to pose for a few pictures!

Santa Sully! He is SO proud!

Palmer family shot---as you can see, Baby P is ready to come any day!

Enjoy the pictures and the last few days before Christmas! Brett and I are looking forward to opening presents with Sully on Christmas morning!

What's new with Sully?

Hello everyone! It has been too long since our last blog entry! Sully has been a very busy boy! Sullivan started a new sports class that works on basketball, T-ball, and soccer--he LOVES it! It is hilarious to watch all the little boys in his class interact and play! Sullivan also helps me teach a swim class twice a week at the Y. It is a parent/tot class and since he has taken it a bunch already with me, he is the guinea pig and the demonstrator for me when I teach! Sully just loves the water, so it is a fun activity for us to do together. Sullivan is also becoming quite the talker! His speech has really picked up over the past month and he is saying so many new things each day. He has started saying 3-4 word sentences that are understandable--but, there are still many times when he rambles on about things that we have no idea! He is SO chatty, so when all those words start coming together, we are going to be having some fun conversations! Sully still loves school and all of his friends in the class. They work on different colors and shapes and it is amazing how much he has picked up over the past few months!

A few weeks ago, Sully and I went down to Lenox mall to ride the Pink Pig train. It has been an Atlanta tradition since the 50's! The train is set up each year at Christmas time, so we went before the crowds and lines. It was the perfect day because it was so early in the season that nobody else was there. Sully had a blast and wanted to keep riding it around and around. I snapped a quick picture before the ride started.
Choo! Choo!
This year for Thanksgiving, we made a fun trip up to Kentucky. Sully had a great time and went to his first UK football game! It was a great game--too bad UK couldn't pull it out at the end! We, unfortunately, didn't bring the camera, so we don't have any pictures to share. It was a fun weekend!
Today, Sully and I met up with some friends at the park. We tried out a new place and it was great because the Chattahooche river was close and we were able to go see a lot of geese! Sully loves the "Honk, honks!" Here are some cute pictures of our morning at the park!
Sully going down the slide!
Sully is getting quite good at climbing and can always find a fun place to climb at the park...here he goes...
Hey, Mommy! Here I go...
Almost at the top!
He made it to the top and decided to hang from the top bar!
Sully found a pile of leaves!
So fun!
Time to go visit the geese by the river!
Sully LOVES to watch the geese! He and Tyler and Malley sat on a step and watched!
Hey, Malley, look!
What a sweet picture!
Goofy Sully smile!
Hope you all have a great rest of your week! We have about 3-6 weeks left until Baby P arrives, so we are taking advantage of our sleep at night and getting everything ready for a new little baby girl! Can't wait!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! We have been celebrating Halloween for the past week and Sully has enjoyed every minute! He was a fireman this year and was very proud of his costume! We started celebrating last week at playgroup. All of Sully's buddies dressed up and we took pictures and they played. Here are a few pictures of the event...

Jack, Libby, Brayden, Laine, Sophie, and Sully Fireman Sully at playgroup! Yesterday was Sully's fall festival and Halloween parade at school. It was so cute--his class came outside and walked around a few times in their costumes and then went back in, changed clothes, and then came out for the fall festival. There were crafts, stories, jumping pits, etc. It was a really fun morning at school for Sully. Enjoy the pictures...
Sully was very serious during the parade! He didn't really know what was going on and I tried really hard to get him to smile--no such luck!
Sully's favorite part of the festival was jumping with his buddies--the pictures are too cute!Jumpy! Jumpy! Sully kept coming over to say hi!
Sully had the best time--he was not happy to get out! Sully and his class at school after the parade!
Time for Trick or Treating!
Sully knew just what to do---he even said, "Trick or Treat!" Jordan, Sully, Jack, and Malley--Sully couldn't go Trick or Treating without his buddies, and...
his favorite fans! Sully loves to trick or treat with his friends and family! It was a fun night! We thought he would only go to a few houses---well, he ran up and down those driveways and we hit houses for over an hour--yeah for yummy candy!
After we got home, Sully sat with Grancie and organized all of his candy--do we have another Lindsay on our hands? She would categorize all of her candy each Halloween--Sully reminded me of her last night when we got home. He counted it, and talked about the colors, etc. Too funny!
A few weekends ago, Brett and I went up to the mountains with some friends. While there, we went to a festival and bought Sully some Woolly Worms--he played with them for a little while when we got home and then we set them free. Here are some pictures of Sully with the Woolly worms Brett and I brought back to Sully.
Very brave!
Brett and Tracy(and Baby P)--this was the incredible view from their deck at the condo--pretty nice!
Hope you enjoyed the pictures! Have a great rest of your week and weekend!

Sully's adventures at Burt's Pumpkin Farm!

Hello! Last Friday, Catey and I took Sully and Malley up to North Ga to Burt's Pumpkin Farm. Sully has been to a few small pumpkin farms this season, but this is our favorite and the same place Sully went last year when we took pictures with the huge pumpkins! The pumpkins are still HUGE, but Sully is not as small so he didn't look as lost in them all as he did last year. He is growing so fast! Sully and Malley had a fabulous morning--we pushed them in a wheelbarrow, they explored all around the big pumpkins, we went for a super fun hayride all through the farm, and we stopped for lunch and icecream on our way home. It was such a fun day! Here are some pictures to enjoy...
Mommy taking Sully for a spin!
The Love Birds!

Boo!
Hayride!

Sully was getting a little crazy with the hay!
We stopped for lunch on the way home and then let Malley and Sully eat some icecream in the car on the way home so they wouldn't fall asleep and still take a good nap at home---they thought that was so fun!

Big Bite!

While we were waiting for Catey and Malley to pick us up that morning, I snapped a few pictures of Sully goofing around on the front porch.
Goofy Sully!

Sully moved into his new room and has been sleeping in his big boy bed for over a week now! He loves his new room and is very proud to be an official "big boy!" He has not ever tried to get out and sleeps just as well in his new room--in fact, he has been taking longer naps since the switch--Mommy loves that! :) We snapped a sweet picture of Sully on his first night in his new bed.
Sully is so proud of himself!
Have a wonderful weekend! We will be up in the North Carolina mountains with some friends enjoying the beautiful fall weather and taking advantage of a Sully-free weekend! We only have a few more weekends left before we have 2 little Palmers around here! We will also be cheering for those mighty Wildcats of Kentucky on Saturday afternoon! GO CATS!
