post #2 for May/June Adventures with Sully and Ansley!

Okay...so, we covered the wedding, the hiking trip...on to the baseball game with Zizzie!  Lindsay took Sully to a Gwinnett Braves game a few weeks ago, and Sully had a blast eating fun treats and watching some baseball.  He was a little nervous about "Chipper" the Groundhog, but got over it and even gave him a high-five at the end...what a brave, little guy!  At the end he ran around the bases, which he said was "SO FUN!"  Here are some pics from the day.
Best buds!

This summer has been great because Grancie (aka Pwetty) and Pip have had the kids over every Sunday night and Monday--we drop them off Sunday evening and I pick them up after naps on Monday afternoon.  It was a great way for me and Brett to have some fun dates, the kids to have some fun Pwetty and Pip time, and I had a free babysitter while I coached on Mondays!  Everyone was a winner!  :)  Sully always was so excited to tell me about the vegetables he picked in Pip's garden and how Pwetty let him help water the grass!  We are quite sad that the Sunday sleepovers are over...maybe we can convince Pwetty and Pip to keep the tradition going until school starts back up....wink, wink, hint, hint...  :)  Here are some pictures from their many fun Sunday sleepovers.
Most Mondays included a trip down to their pool with Pwetty and Zizzie...

Fun times at the park...

Patches always enjoyed the extra treats and hugs...
so sweet!
Ansley has really been getting into feeding her babies.  At Pwetty's house she knows just where to get her doll, get her spoon, and get her bowl to feed from...it is really cute.  She looks very proud to be feeding her baby in this picture.

Ansley being Ansley...cute and naughty!

A few weeks ago Brett and I took Sully to Louisville, KY to see Sara and Stephen get married.  I was in the wedding, so on Saturday while the girls were getting all gussied up, Brett took Sully to the Louisville Zoo...this was the lone picture from the event, and then the camera never made it to the wedding, so we are hoping to get some pictures from Sara's step Dad, Dave, who took some cute shots of Sully and his love, Sophia (the flower girl), and some pictures of the three of us.  It was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been to and will probably ever go to in my life...Sara was stunning and it was a fabulous weekend.

The gorilla doesn't stand a chance against our Sully!  :)

We are all caught up now on pictures...we are going to PA to visit family and friends next week, so we will have some fun pictures again in a few weeks.  Happy 4th of July!  We will be decorating Sully's bike and Ansley's wagon and doing a neighborhood parade and party...then going to our usual fireworks place with some ice cream later in the evening!  So fun!

Summertime with Sully and Ansley!

Okay...I know...what in the world is going on with the Palmers lately?  I was SO busy this past month coaching my summer league team and teaching swim lessons---I had little time for anything, especially updating the blog.  But, swim team is now over so I am back on the blog!  The kids have been doing so well.  Ansley is really taking off with her talking.  She is picking up new words and mimicking new sounds everyday.  She prefers to talk over signing, which is fine with me, but Sully still tries to teach her some signs.  It is so cute!  Ansley is Sully's little shadow...she follows him and copies everything he does.  She frustrates him because she doesn't play his way, but most of the time Sully shares his toys and they sit and play together.  She is also really getting into her books.  She enjoys it when we read to her and really loves reading her books in the car.  Only trouble is when she drops the book and wants it back while I am driving!  :)  Sully is still into animals and is usually pretending he has something to do with animals.  His swimming is really starting to take off...he can swim a much longer way now because he is starting to learn how to lift his head up to breathe and keep swimming.  He LOVES the pool in our neighborhood and goes down the huge slide all by himself (that took some bribing, but he now walks up all by himself, slides down, and swims over to the steps!)  We are really excited to see him doing so well in the pool.  Ansley loves the water too...we dunk her like crazy at the pool and she just comes up and asks for more.  She puts her head under the fountains, and just loves kicking around in the water.  I am sure she will be swimming just like her brother in a few years.   So, we have been spending a lot of time down at the pool.  We have also had a few fun trips and adventures.  We went to 2 weddings--one for our cousin Erin down at Fripp Island, SC.  We went down a few days early and took advantage of the beautiful beach!  The kids had a blast!!!  We also took Sully (Ansley stayed back with Pwetty and Pip) to Sara's wedding in Louisville.  Sully fell in love with the flower girl, Sophia---we had a great weekend.  We also went hiking in North GA one Sunday and that was super fun! Zizzie took Sully to his first baseball game, and the kids spent many fun days with Pwetty and Pip at the pool and park.  So, here are some pictures from our various adventures....sorry for such a backlog of pictures over the past 2 months.  Enjoy!

Wedding at Fripp
Sully Charles with Charles Sully at the beach!
LOVE it!
Zizzie and Ansley at Erin's rehearsal dinner!
Beach time!
Sully loved the water!  He learned to ride the waves in on the boogie board and he loved sitting and waiting for the waves to crash up and nail him in the face!  Hilarious!
  Go Sully!
I LOVE her legs...I will miss those chunky things when they are gone.  Ansley LOVED being buried in the sand...on this day we buried them both and they thought that was hilarious!
Sully and Mnee and PP at the wedding reception
Ansley was off dancing while Sully was taking pictures!!  She was the hit of the rehearsal...well, besides the beautiful bride, of course.  :)  Mnee and PP did give Ansley a run for her money on the dance floor, though...they were not afraid to bust a move!
Sully with Pwetty and Pip before the wedding...it was a beautiful wedding on the beach!

Hiking in North GA
Breakfast on our back deck before we left...so sweet!!  Love those undies, Sully!  :)
Ready to go!
Sully walked the whole way by himself...he was glad to finally make it to the falls...little did he know he had to walk all the way back!  :)
Palmer family...of course, Ansley wasn't looking...too hard to get everyone looking and smiling!  :)
So sweet!

I am going to start a new page for the rest of the pictures...this is getting too big....stand by for more...
