Happy Memorial Day weekend! We have an exciting weekend ahead...Ansley is being baptized on Sunday morning! She has the sweetest little white dress and I am sure she will look VERY cute! Grancie, Pip, Lindsay, and Mnee and PupPup will be there for the big event! So fun that we can share this special day with family. We are so excited Mnee and PupPup could make it all the way from PA! Ansley is almost 5 months now...she will turn 5 months on the 27th. She is at a really fun age. She smiles and giggles all of the time and she LOVES Sully! He can make her belly laugh so much better than Brett and I can. He is starting to really enjoy her company now that she responds to him and he can help her "play." He comes in her room with me every morning and greets her with "Hi beautiful!" and a big kiss. It is the sweetest! She holds her head up well now and we are working on getting her to sit up. She still has some time till she will sit on her own, but we practice everyday to get those stomach and neck muscles ready. I remember it being even more fun to play with Sully once he sat up, so we are looking forward to that. She is in a great routine...she eats 5 times a day and takes 2 good naps. We haven't started her on baby food yet. I want to nurse exclusively for 6 months and then start in on solids...no need to make diaper changes stinker yet! hahaha She is gaining weight so nicely, we don't need to rush. I can't believe we are even talking about that already. Time is just going by so fast!
Here are some really cute pictures of her at the park the other day. Now that the weather is so nice, we have been meeting Brett at the park for lunch on Mondays. It is fun to see Brett during the day and a great excuse to have a picnic in the park! Enjoy the pictures. We will update again next week with pictures from the baptism. Sully had to get a picture too...he is covered in his lunch! :) Nick was in town last weekend so we went over to Grancie's house for a fun visit. Unfortunately, Sully was sick that day with a fever, so he really wasn't up for being in any pictures. Ansley, on the other hand enjoyed smiling for the camera.
