What's up with Sullivan?

Hey everyone! What a great summer it has been so far! Sullivan and I love the warm weather so we can be outside and spend many fun afternoons at the pool! Unfortuately, Sullivan was a little under the weather last week with his first ear infection. He is now all better and back to his active self. We are glad that is over!

Sullivan is learning how to show his emotions much better. It is kind of funny, because he has learned how to show that he is mad, and boy does he get mad! It is so funny, we have to look away. He is so cute even when he is mad! Here are some pictures from the other night! Sully was not happy with where he was standing!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers out there!! Sullivan and I have been celebrating with Brett all day! We went to the park this morning and took the dogs to the dog park and then Sullivan to the playground. What a fun morning. Then we went to the pool this afternoon for some fun with Sullivan. Sometimes, while I get my teeth brushed in the morning, I let Sullivan play in the tub. He is crawling around so much, it is one of the few places left that he cannot crawl out of! Sullivan loves it! Here are some cute pictures of him the other morning.

Sullivan goes on a road trip to KY!

This past weekend, we were up in Richmond, KY for a visit with Grandma and Grandpa Palmer. Sullivan played on a red rocket, went swimming in the same pool his Daddy swam in as a little boy, and had lots of extra hugs and kisses. Here are some pictures of Sullivan's fun weekend.

A belly crawling Sullivan!

Sullivan has started to crawl! He is not up on his hands and knees yet, but he crawls on his belly and uses his arms and legs to help him move. He has become quite fast and he is very proud of himself! He crawls from room to room and usually talks while he is crawling. It is really cute! Sullivan is also starting to walk if we hold his hands above his head. He is becoming quite the mobile little guy. My days of watching Sullivan play in one spot are over! He is a crawling machine!

Here are some pictures of Sullivan demonstrating his new skill. It is hard to see from the still picture, so you will have to just imagine how cute Sullylooks wiggling around on the ground.

He is so busy!

Sullivan's favorite object to crawl to is our basket in the living room. We can put the basket down the hallway and he will wiggle his little body as fast as he can to grab it. Here, I put it across the room so I could take a fun picture of Sullivan crawling towards it.

Sullivan LOVES his baths, and we love to take pictures of him in the tub. Sullivan is finally growing some hair, so the other night, we had some fun with the shampoo.

Swimming Sullivan!

It has finally warmed up enough to go to the pool! Sullivan went 4 times this week and absolutely LOVED swimming! He splashed around and was dunked several times! We took Daddy to see Sullivan's new favorite activity. Sullivan had a fun time playing with Daddy and Mommy!!! Sullivan is in for a very fun summer! Here are some pictures to enjoy!

The sun was shining in Sully's face on the way home, so we put up a towel. When we got home, Sully wanted to make sure we didn't forget about him. How could we forget that sweet Sully?

We hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend! Yeah for summer! My swim team has our first meet this week. I am excited! In a few years, Sully will be up on those blocks diving in for his first meet! He looks like he is well on his way! Enjoy the pictures.

A tennis filled weekend for Sullivan!

This weekend, Auntie Lindsay and I were in a tennis tournament. We lost our first match, but thankfully the tourney was a double elimination event. We entered the consolation bracket and won our next three matches to become the consolation bracket champions! We had a fabulous weekend. Sullivan, of course, was the hit of all the matches! Everyone thought we was so cute in his hat, and he did an excellent job of cheering on his Mom and Auntie. We had a very busy weekend with 4 straight days of tennis!!!



If you look closely at the above picture and the picture below, you should be able to see some little white teeth on Sullivan's top gums. He is growing so fast!

But, he didn't care because he had a lot of extra attention!

Sullivan is getting very busy during the day. His new favorite thing to do is to stand. He LOVES to hold on to things! Here are a few pictures of Sullivan demonstrating his new skill. He is very proud of himself. Before we know it, he will be walking and then I will be too busy to snap shots...I will be running all over the house! HaHa Enjoy the pictures!

Happy Mother's Day!

We hope you all enjoyed your Mother's Day! We had a great weekend. We played a fierce game of tennis with Grancie and Aunt Lindsay and had some great homemade pizza!

Sullivan News Update:
Yesterday Sullivan's top 2 teeth started to break the surface. His gums are now rough and those pearly whites will be popping out soon!

Sully Update!

Sullivan has been very chatty over the past week. His favorite things to say is "bababa" and "dadada" He says them over and over and over. He talks to his toys, Amos and Milo, strangers who smile at him, and Mommy and Daddy (of course). We love to talk back to him!

Here are some fun pictures of Sullivan over the past week. He received a new toy--an "Exersaucer" and he LOVES it! He plays with the toys and jumps in it like crazy!!! So fun!

On Monday, Sullivan and I babysat Malley (Sullivan's girlfriend). They played very sweetly together. Sullivan tried to hold her hand--how sweet!!
