Big Month for Sully!

Hey! It has been awhile since I have updated the blog. Time just flies by around here and I realized that I haven't even put up pictures from Sully's birthday! We had a fabulous day! The day started with Sully's birthday party down at the park in our neighborhood. We had his party early in the morning from 930-11, so instead of cake, we had donuts and juice. The kids played with water balloons and the big activity of the morning was the bike parade. Sully wanted to have a parade at his party so we bought a ton of decorations and all the kids brought their bikes and decorated their bikes followed by a parade around the park. It was precious and the kids had a really great time. After the park party, most of Sully's friends came to the pool with us for the rest of the morning/early afternoon. We had lunch and just played in the pool. It was the perfect way for Sully to celebrate with all of his best friends. He had a GREAT day! After his fun morning, Sully and Ansley took naps before the rest of the day's activities began. Pwetty, Pip, and Zizzie came over to play and eat some pizza. We opened all of Sully's presents and ate the Elephant Cake I made for Sully. Of course, when I gave Sully the choice of cakes, he chose an elephant cake. I was proud of myself for being able to make it, even though, it wasn't the best looking cake...I did my best for my Sully! :) It was a great day. Here are some pictures to share.

My elephant cake. It tasted yummier than it looks! For those of you who know of my lack of artistic ability...this was actually quite creative for me. :)

Sully is very proud to be 4!!

Sully's favorite present was his Noah's Ark we got him...he was SO excited and still plays with it daily. In fact, when we were driving home from the beach last week, he mentioned how excited he was to go home and see his Noah's Ark again! So funny! He is still obsessed with animals! :)

Pwetty and Pip gave Sully his own scooter...he was really excited and got the hang of it pretty quickly. :)

This was a super cute picture of the kids at the zoo for our monthly trip in August...Ansley now loves the zoo just as much as Sully! They always get excited when we make the trip down. :)

Brett and I are excited...we are finally celebrating our 5 year anniversary (July 24th) this weekend while the kids go have a spend the night adventure with Pwetty and Pip. Then a huge fireworks display in our neighborhood and some college football...a fun weekend ahead! :)
