Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!  We hope everyone had a great day and a relaxing weekend!  We were in Atlanta this year and enjoyed a yummy meal at Grancie and Pip's house.  In the morning, I ran my first 1/2 marathon, so that was an adventure for me.  While I was gone, Sully sat and watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade while Ansley took a nap.  When I got home it was still on and he was so excited because, "The man (Al Roker) on the TV said Santa was coming!"  So we waited all the way until the end of the parade and we saw Santa!!!  Sully is very excited about Christmas this year and Brett and I are SO excited for Christmas morning to see Sully's face when he sees that Santa brought presents!  Santa probably won't be bringing Sully his first choice in presents (a real tiger and elephant), but I am sure Santa will be able to make a Sully happy this Christmas---that is if he stays on the "good boy" list!  :)

Ansley update...
Ansley is now pulling up to standing and will take steps if we are holding her hands.  She has mastered some signs---"more" and "bye bye"   Sully is excited to help me teach her sign language.  I can't believe Sully is now the teacher and not the student...this past year has just flown by with a little Ansley!  She is already 11 months old and I just can't believe that her first birthday is just around the corner.  She is a great eater and likes just about everything, so I am sure she will be SO excited for cake on her birthday!  :)

Our camera is pretty much dead, so pictures have been hard to come by this month.  Maybe Santa will bring us a new camera, or maybe we can hit a good deal on some after Christmas sales...so, enjoy the few pictures I was able to get over the past few weeks.

Ansley's first pasta night...
Ansley just gobbled it up....she LOVED it!   Tomato sauce mustache!
 okay...I'm ready for some more...
Was not happy when it was over...she could have eaten all night!  :)

Ansley crawling...
Ansley is a quick, little crawler...Sully still thinks it is funny to see her crawl around...he will say, "Hey Mommy look...Ansley is crawling!"  I bet he will just crack up when he sees her walk for the first time!  :)

A few days ago, our neighbors had some trees cut down in their yard.  Of course, they decided to put them in the chipper right at nap time, so it was SO loud around here.  Sully was a little scared, so we scratched the nap for the afternoon and he sat at the window and watched them chop up every last bit of those trees.  He is a typical boy...he just was so excited to just sit there and watch the tree go in and see the saw dust shoot out the other end.

We are getting the house ready for the tree and all the fun Christmas decorations...this is our favorite time of the year!  Hope to have more pictures soon!
