Sully and Ansley's adventures at the ZOO!

This picture is from our backyard--Sully wants to constantly be outside to play on his new playset--thankfully, the weather has been perfect for playing in the backyard! Yesterday we took Ansley out and all played, raked leaves, and had a picnic lunch outside in the backyard! It was the perfect morning! Today was a GEORGEOUS day! It was in the 70's and Brett took off from work, so we took a family trip down to Zoo Atlanta! Sully had a blast and was so excited about seeing all the animals. Ansley slept, pooped, and ate---she could have cared less about the animals, but enjoyed some fresh air! haha Ansley is now a week and a half old and she is starting to sleep a bit more at night, but still keeps us up between 8pm and midnight. She has chosen to have her awake period of the day right when we are ready to go to bed. But, after the midnight feeding, she settles down and usually gives a few 3 hour spurts of sleep. We have been trying to keep her awake during the day, but she is still a little flip flopped and wants to sleep all day. It will turn around soon and she is still so little, so we are being patient! She is a great baby and Sully is the most loving big brother. He has to give her a kiss before he leaves to go anywhere and is always there to help me tickle her feet when I am trying to keep her awake during a feeding! They are going to be best buds before we know it!

Enjoy the pictures from the zoo...

Sully at the Pandas

Sully was super excited about the Gorillas! We even saw a baby gorilla! Sully said it was like baby Ansley!
If you know Sully, then you know he LOVES lions! He was not very happy when we had to finally move on and look at other animals!

Another favorite of Sully are the elephants! He was SO excited to see them!

Sully saw giraffes and zebras!

What a hairy animal! I couldn't resist this picture!

Sully can stand on one leg just like the flamingos!

What a sweet big brother--he was very good at pushing Ansley in the stroller.

Baby Ansley at the zoo!

What a treat to have Daddy home from work to go to the zoo with us! We had such a fun day as a family! Now a family of 4!

Enjoy and have a great week! Hope your weather is as beautiful as ours!
