Sully at Fernbank Museum in Atlanta...
I took Sully downtown to see a snakes and lizards exhibit at the museum--he saw a ton of snakes and lizards, but the highlight was when Sully touched a red milk snake--Sully talked about that for days--he LOVED it, even though he shivered for a second after he touched the snake! So funny!
Big Lizard! When you walk in the museum, there is a huge life-sized T-Rex in the lobby--Sully didn't even really know what he was looking at because it was SO big!
For playgroup one day we all went back to the Children's Museum downtown--it is funny how Sully changes each time we go--we have been three times now--he was interested in totally different things this time and was able to do a lot more and interact a lot more with some of the activities--but his favorite was still the painting station--check out his masterpiece! :)
Spaghetti Night!
Sully loves riding his tricycle! Grancie and Gramps bought him a helmet and pad set to go with his new bike they bought him for his birthday--he insists on wearing all the gear--it is hilarious! He loves the gear because it has all the Sesame Street characters!
Sully loves to visit the firestation! He has gone a few times now and he just thinks the firetrucks are the coolest things! On this day, he was able to see a fireman all dressed up in his gear--a lot of other kids were scared of him, but Sully thought it was cool and went right up the fireman and said, "Hi!"
Last Wednesday was Sully's first day of school! Sully was so excited and had a great first week. He goes to school Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:30-1:00! I have to pack him a lunch and Sully proudly walks into school holding his lunchbox! So cute! His school prefers tote bags instead of backpacks, so he still struggles keeping his bag on his shoulder with all of his things inside! He will surely grow into the bag by the end of the year!
This past weekend, Brett and I took a little getaway to NYC to see a few days of the US Open tennis tournament and to visit with Kelli and Doug! Sully had a great time with Grancie and Gramps, and Brett and I enjoyed 4 days Sully-free catching up with friends and enjoying some great tennis! One night we got a great view of the city from the Open--enjoy the picture!
BABY P Update!
For those of you who haven't already heard, Sully is going to have a little sister to romp around with in January! We went for our ultrasound a few weeks ago and decided at the last minute to find out the sex of the baby--Baby P is a girl! What a great, little family we will have! January 5th is still the due date, so we are getting more and more excited as the weeks pass! Only a few more months left to go!
Hope you enjoyed all the pictures--we will try to update more often! Have a great week!
xxoo Tracy, Brett, and Sullivan xxoo
