Sully's visit to the Train Museum!

Last week when we returned from the beach, I took Sully to the train museum with Malley and Catey! Sully thought it was super fun seeing all the trains and even getting to go inside many of the trains! Sully is really into trains right now, so he had a great morning! Maybe Mommy and Daddy will get him a train set for his birthday next week! :) Sully sure does hope so!

Sully thought it was pretty fun one day to put on some sunglasses---he looks very cool! He also LOVES talking on the phone. He is always asking me to call people so he can chat away. Some days, he gets talking like crazy --it is so funny to hear him! His favorite is when Grancie and Gramps talk like they are the Sesame Street characters--I sometimes think he really believes he is talking to all his favorite characters! So funny!

Sully's beach vacation at Seaside!

Hello everyone! We are back from our week adventure at Seaside! Sully, to no surprise, LOVED the ocean and playing at the beach. We had such a great time! We parked our car on Wednesday when we arrived and didn't get back in until a week later when it was time to go home. We walked everywhere and just enjoyed the slow life. We came back all rested and relaxed--it was hard to leave. We would go to the beach early in the morning and then come back for lunch and Sully's nap--Brett and I found ourselves napping most days too! We would go to the pool in the late afternoon and then either go into town for dinner or cook back at the house. It was a perfect set-up. We often went into town and would visit the toy store where Sully would play with the train set or the toy animals--and of course for icecream! We took so many fun pictures--we picked out some of our favorites to share with everyone--enjoy!

The first night we arrived, we unpacked and went into town for dinner. After we ate we went for our first look at the ocean. These pictures are from that very first night when Sully saw the ocean for the first time. The pictures tell the story--he LOVED it! The picture is a little fuzzy because of the lighting, but his face is priceless! He was totally taken back by what he was looking at!

After his initial shock, he was off and running towards the water!

Ready for the beach--Day one!

Sully sat by the water and loved waiting for the waves to crash up on shore and get him all wet! He would giggle so hard when the water rushed up on him!

Sully and I had a fun time playing in the water! The waves would crash up on us and then pull us back--Sully was laughing SO hard! He loved it!

So fun!

One night after dinner we went down for a walk along the beach. This picture is just so perfect, we had to share!

What a great picture--we even captured his shadow!

Sully loved the pool. He would grab all of his gear and lead the way. One of the pools in Seaside was only about a block away from our house, so it was a pefect place to hang out with Sully in the late afternoons!

Splish, Splash!

Sully loved being buried in the sand. Brett would dig a big hole, Sully would climb in and we could cover him up with sand. We did it over and over again because he loved it so much! He looks like a planted flower! A Sully Flower!

Brett and Sully loved going for snow cones in the afternoons. Sully would just dig his spoon right into Brett's treat!

Brett would take Sully in the ocean and they would play in the waves--Sully loved it!

On our last night in Seaside we stopped by and outdoor concert in the main area of town--we got Sully a glow necklace--he thought it was pretty cool!

Happy July!

Hey everyone! Sully has been a busy boy these past few weeks! He is really starting to become quite the talker and is picking up new words everyday! We really have to be careful what we say around him! For the 4th of July, we went to Grancie and Gramps' house for a cookout and to see Sully's Great Uncle Bobby and Auntie Lynne! It was the first time they had met Sullivan and were not diappointed! Sully warmed right up and was quite the "show-off!" He had such a great time! His favorite activity was playing play-doh with Uncle Bobby! He was so sad for them to leave that he cried! In fact, he still walks around the house saying, "Bobby!" when I get out the play-doh! So funny!

Time for play-doh!

Sully's favorite thing to make is snakes! He is quite good at rolling out the play-doh. Uncle Bobby and Grancie were helping him.

Yesterday, Sully and I went on an outting to the library. Sully picked out some books and was so excited to read them, he wouldn't eat his lunch! He eventually put the books down and ate some food, but not before I snapped some cute pictures!

So intelligent sitting there reading! haha

Sully LOVES Elmo--he was so excited to read his Elmo book!

At the end of the book, Elmo pops out--you can just look at the picture of Sully to see what he thought of that! So fun!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures! We are leaving in the morning for the beach and will be gone until the following Wednesday! Yeah for a week at the beach with Brett and Sully! Sullivan has never seen the ocean, so I know we are going to have a blast and some fun pictures to share when we return! Have a wonderful week and we will catch up with you soon!
