Slide time!

We LOVE our new house and new neighborhood...the best part, so far, has been the pool this summer and all the fun times with our new neighbors.  Sully's favorite part is the slide.  I finally was able to get some pictures tonight to document the fun before summer is over.  Enjoy!

The past few weeks we have been busy!  We have had many days at the pool, we took a trip to the zoo, Kathy and Carl were in town, Brett had a birthday, we celebrated our 5 year anniversary, the kids got to sit inside a fire truck, spent many mornings at various parks, went to some storytimes with friends, had some fun spend the nights with Pwetty and Pip, Zizzie took Sully to a 3-D movie, and Batman even came to Chick-fil-A for Super Hero night!  Whew--I am exhausted all over again reading what he have been up to!  Summertime keeps us busy since there is no school, so we take advantage of our days and always go on fun adventures.  Here are some pictures from the past few weeks.  Enjoy!

Date night...

Not on our anniversary...but only a few days before...5 years have FLOWN by...

Sully and his leading lady!

Last week, Malley and Turner came over the for the afternoon to play.  Turner and Ansley took a little snooze while Malley and Sully had a super fun and wet afternoon outside.  Here are some adorable pictures of the two best friends.  SO FUN!  :)  

 We have automatic sprinklers in the front yard, so I turned them on and Sully and Malley had fun running through.

After getting all wet, we got out the paint and created some beautiful masterpieces! 

They started out quite clean, but by the end they were covered in paint!  They thought it was SO fun.  So, we ended the afternoon with a warm bath and some TV and popcorn!  Sully asks everyday if Malley can come over and they can play in the sprinklers again.  It was a fun afternoon!  Ansley and Turner had no idea what they were missing!  :)

Sully update:  He is offically swimming!  I know I have said he was swimming before, and he was, but only swimming as far as he could before he needed to breath.  Now he can go the width of the pool all by himself lifting his head to breath and going back down and continuing swimming.  For all you swimmers out there, you know that is the hardest part for a little one to learn---breathing and not stopping, so it was a big deal when Sully finally got the hang of it and really swam for a long distance!  He even did it a few times jumping in and swimming across...now I will start working on the length of the pool---you know I am just dying to get him on my swim team next summer!!!  GO SULLY!!  :)

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!  We had a fabulous day!  The day started with a parade that started down at the pool and ended down at the sports park in our neighborhood.  Sully had his bike all decorated and did a great job riding it while Ansley sported a decorated wagon--Daddy had the pleasure of pulling Ansley along while I was the photographer and videographer!  Once we arrived at the sports park, we dismounted and had a few hours of pony rides, inflatable jumpy things and slides, train rides, watermelon and popcorn snacks, fun with all our new neighbors, and a picnic lunch.  It was the perfect 4th of July morning!  Then, home for some naps while Mommy and Daddy watched Wimbledon, so they could rest up for our marathon night of fireworks!  We went to our usual spot to sit right in the middle of 2 country clubs battling it out for the best fireworks show!  Ansley LOVED it and so did Sully!  Kids were in bed at 1030pm, so it made for a full-day, but a super fun day!  Enjoy the pictures and have a great rest of your holiday weekend!

She ate an enormous amount of watermelon...she kept quietly sneaking off to the watermelon table and stealing more...she is SO naughty!  :)  

Sully's favorite food, I think, is watermelon...he kept sneaking over for more, as well...thankfully, it wasn't a cookie table they were sneaking over to...I was happy to see them so excited over fruit!  :)
