More cute pictures!

I thought these pictures were too cute to not post on the blog. Sully and I play on his little mat in the bonus room every day! I try to get him playing right after he eats and he is full of energy. He is starting to really hit the objects and gets so excited when he causes them to make noise!! How cute. Enjoy the pictures!!

Quiet Time!

Ah!! These pictures are priceless! There are only a few minutes of complete silence in our house these days, and they are special moments for Mom!!! Amos and Sully are zonked for an afternoon nap!!

We are finally getting into somewhat of a daytime routine! It has been much harder to set than the night routine. We are waking up, eating, going to the pool so Mom can have a nice swim, then coming back and eating, taking a nap (if all goes well), eating again, taking the dogs for a walk around the neighborhood, eating again, and then playing and watching Oprah in the afternoons! Fun times! Sully is growing like a weed and I am really enjoying being at home with him, especially when he is as sweet as he is in these pictures!! Enjoy!!

Hello!! It has been a little while since our last blog update. Sully has been a busy boy! He has had many fun adventures and is growing more and more everyday! He is starting to get little pudgy cheeks and many sqeezable rolls on his arms and his legs! Yeah for a growing Sullivan! Can you believe he is 3 1/2 weeks old already?

In the mornings, Sullivan and I love to play after we go on our walk and he eats his mid morning snack. Here is an adorable picture of Sullivan playing very hard! He is going to be so smart!! hehe

You can tell from the picture that he loves to move his sweet, little arms around when he is playing! He looks like he is having so much fun!!

This weekend, Carl and Kathy were in town to visit their sweet grandson! They bought him a fun swing to enjoy! We put on his favorite lullaby CD today and the swing rocked him right to sleep! He loves his new toy!! Thanks to his fun grandparents!! Sullivan is so lucky to be so loved!!

Fun in the tub with Sullivan!

Tonight Sullivan had his first bath in the tub! He loved it!! There were no tears and he was a very happy baby!! Here are some cute pictures of our wet, little Sully!!

Fun Weekend with Sullivan!

Sullivan had a great weekend!! Auntie Kelli was in town from NYC and he loved meeting her!! We had a lot of fun adventures!!! We went for a long, hot walk on Saturday morning at the park with the dogs, we went out to eat at a restaurant (Sully's first restaurant experience), and had lots of fun hanging out at the house!! Kelli gave Sully the sweetest onesie from NYC!! He looked very cute in it!!! Sully is already missing Auntie Kelli!! They cuddled all weekend long! Sully is so lucky to be so loved.

Sully had a very sleepless night last night, so Mommy, Amos, and Sully took a long nap today!! Daddy snuck in and took some cute pictures!!

Amos loves all the extra naps we are taking!!

Sullivan goes to the Doctor!

Well, Sullivan survived his first visit to the doctor! He was not very happy when they stripped him of all his clothes and checked him out, but he was a good patient! He has gained some weight, which the doctor said is great! He now weighs 9 lbs. 4 oz! And he grew an inch!! I guess all those feedings have paid off! Sullivan is a healthy, growing boy!! Since he was so good, he got a fun sticker!!! His first reward from the doctor's office!! He doesn't go back until he is 2 months old...he will get a bunch of shots at that visit!!

Brett and I are doing really well!! We are getting a lot of sleep and we are enjoying Sullivan becoming more aware of us and his surroundings. We are looking forward to a fun-filled weekend. Kelli is coming from NYC to visit Sully!! We are going to get the house all cleaned up tomorrow for her visit. Brett has been painting the dining room this week, so we are hoping to have that done for Kelli to see as well!! So much to look forward to!! Hope you all have a great weekend...we will have more blog updates next week!!

Sweet Sullivan!

This week has been great so far. Brett and I are really enjoying spending so much time with sweet Sullivan! He is such a good boy. He sleeps in 4-6 hour spurts at night, with the exception of one night of hiccups! Brett counted over 150 at one time!!! He is eating very well and takes good naps during the day! He is a lot more alert now! He has long periods during the day where he has his eyes open and we play with him!

Brett and I have been on some outings this week! We have been out at the store, went for some lunch, haircuts, and today we are going to Sullivan's first Doctors appointment! We are excited to see how much Sully has grown. This weekend Kelli is coming into town to meet Sullivan and we are going to take Sullivan to the park with the dogs.

That is what is going on in the world of Sullivan. He is doing so well!!

Fireman Sully!

Brett and I enjoyed a fun day with Sullivan today. We played, went on a walk, danced to some fun music, and changed a lot of diapers. Sullivan is getting so alert and he looked adorable in his little fireman outfit. (Thanks Aunt Linds for the cute onesie!) We put a fun little mirror in Sully's crib today while he was just playing around after a nappy!! We enjoyed watching Sullivan see his reflection for the first time! He had a fun time!!

Sully's Nursery

Many of you have asked what Sully's nursery looks like, so we thought we would share it with you. Aunt Lindsay lovingly prepared the nursery months before Sullivan was even born!! She knew we were having a boy all along!! Brett painted three of the walls green and Lindsay painted one wall blue. The room is adorable and Sully loves sleeping in his comfy crib! Check out the pictures! Thanks Lindsay for making Sullivan's room so special!

On the right side of the crib we are going to add a Mickey Mouse print that was in Brett's room as a little boy! How sweet for Sully! And, the dresser in Sullivan's room was mine from when I was growing up. Brett found my old diary key taped to the back of it! How amazing!! Sully's room is filled with new things from all of his special friends and family and some things from his Mommy and Daddy's childhood! How perfect!!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!! Grancie and Gramps left today, so Brett and I will be getting used to doing things on our own this week. Brett is lucky enough to have one more week off from work. We are looking forward to another great week with our sweet Sully.

Sully is 1 week old!

Can you believe it? Sully is alreay 1 week old!! Time is already going by so fast!! We have had such an amazing week getting to know our little Sully! He is so sweet! He is really inquisitive! He loves to lay on his back and look up at things! And, he is starting to do his little exercises in his crib after his naps!! Yesterday, we watched him just flair his arms and legs about for about 10 minutes. He was so content just dancing around!! He is so cute!!

Sully is also starting to get into a really great routine! He eats about every 2-3 hours during the day, and last night he slept 4 hours the first round and then 3 1/2 the next!!! Mommy and Daddy are getting a lot more sleep and find this routine to be really managable!! Cross your fingers that Sully likes his routine and sticks with it!!!

He is growing so fast!!

Yesterday, Mommy, Daddy, and Milo took Sully for a really long walk!! He loved it!! Today we are going to head out for another walk...maybe we will even make it to the park!! It is so hot here, we don't want Sully to get too hot!
