Sully's adventures at the Atlanta Children's Museum!

Happy April everyone! I cannot believe how fast time is flying! The weather here has been more like summer over the past few weeks with highs in the 80's and hardly any rain! Finally, this week is back to more normal temps and we have had some rain to wash away all that yellow pollen that has stuck to everything! Our shoes turn yellow when we go outside to play! Sully and I spend most of our days outside with the dogs, walking around the neighborhood, or at the park. Sullivan LOVES to be outside running around and exploring! Sullivan is starting to really explode with his language skills. He is learning how to say new words everyday and, of course, is still learning new signs all the time. We got him some new sign language videos for Easter and he LOVES learning all the zoo and farm animals!

Well, this week was Spring Break in Atlanta, so all of Sully's activities were cancelled for the week. Without our music and swim classes, we had to find some other fun adventures to go on this week. So, on Monday, Sully and I made a trip downtown to the Atlanta Children's Museum. It was SO much fun and Sully and I can't wait to go back. There was so much to do, we didn't have time to do it all!
Here are some fun pictures from our adventures at the museum...
The first stop we made was in the water room. Malley and Sully put on cute, little rain coats on and had a blast slpashing around in the water.

Next stop...a huge sandbox! This sandbox was particularly neat because it wasn't really sand. It was a mixture of sand and a really soft clay-like material. You could ball it up in your hands--it was kind of like a grainy playdough---anyways, the kids thought it was SUPER fun!

What a sweet picture! They were playing so well together!
Sully was showing me something very important. He scooped that sand into that scooper.
Next stop...the painting station! This a was a very fun station---the kids wore cute smocks and painted on the wall. The wall was pretty cool because you could just wash it right off. Sully painted a masterpiece!
What an artist---he worked VERY hard to create that masterpiece! :)
I was impressed with how well Sully could bend down and get more paint all by himself. I didn't have to help him at all.
He is working very hard!

Sully found a fun tractor that he enjoyed sitting on...
Hey guys, I am driving a tractor!
After we left the museum, we all had lunch outside at Centennial Olympic Park. Sullivan LOVED the fountains and laughed a few times when kids went running in and out of them. This summer, we will have to bring Sully back to play in the fountain!

A few days ago, Sully went to Jack's house to play. Here is a sweet picture of the two boys. They are great buddies and play very well together. Sullivan is so social--he loves playing with his friends!

Have a great Easter weekend!
xxoo Tracy, Brett, and Sullivan xxoo
