A tennis filled weekend for Sullivan!

This weekend, Auntie Lindsay and I were in a tennis tournament. We lost our first match, but thankfully the tourney was a double elimination event. We entered the consolation bracket and won our next three matches to become the consolation bracket champions! We had a fabulous weekend. Sullivan, of course, was the hit of all the matches! Everyone thought we was so cute in his hat, and he did an excellent job of cheering on his Mom and Auntie. We had a very busy weekend with 4 straight days of tennis!!!



If you look closely at the above picture and the picture below, you should be able to see some little white teeth on Sullivan's top gums. He is growing so fast!

It was a little hot at times for Sullivan...

But, he didn't care because he had a lot of extra attention!

Sullivan is getting very busy during the day. His new favorite thing to do is to stand. He LOVES to hold on to things! Here are a few pictures of Sullivan demonstrating his new skill. Happy Mother's Day!

We hope you all enjoyed your Mother's Day! We had a great weekend. We played a fierce game of tennis with Grancie and Aunt Lindsay and had some great homemade pizza!

Sullivan News Update:
Yesterday Sullivan's top 2 teeth started to break the surface. His gums are now rough and those pearly whites will be popping out soon!

Sully Update!

Sullivan has been very chatty over the past week. His favorite things to say is "bababa" and "dadada" He says them over and over and over. He talks to his toys, Amos and Milo, strangers who smile at him, and Mommy and Daddy (of course). We love to talk back to him!

Here are some fun pictures of Sullivan over the past week. He received a new toy--an "Exersaucer" and he LOVES it! He plays with the toys and jumps in it like crazy!!! So fun!

On Monday, Sullivan and I babysat Malley (Sullivan's girlfriend). They played very sweetly together. Sullivan tried to hold her hand--how sweet!!

Sullivan is now 9 months old!

Can you believe it? Sullivan turned 9 months on Thursday! He is growing and changing so fast! We went to the doctor today, and Sullivan weighs 18 pounds 13 oz. What a big boy! He has more than doubled his birthweight! Sullivan is such a healthy and happy baby!

Sullivan thinks that because he is now 9 months, he can learn how to play tennis. We figure that when he is a bit taller than the racket, he can give it a try!! Hahaha! For now, he just likes to figure out what in the world that thing is! Here are some pictures of Sullivan exploring!

Over Easter weekend, Sully's great aunt and uncle from PA brought Sullivan a special gift from his cousin, Alex. Alex made Sullivan an awesome motorcycle rocker in his workworking class at school. His class made over 50 of these toys for the "Toys for Tots" program. When the class was over, Alex saved up some scraps of wood and made this special motorcycle just for Sullivan! What a special present! Thank you so much Alex! Sullivan loves his motorcycle, and Brett and I are so touched by your generiosity. Sully will have many years of fun on his very own motorcycle!!!

We have a fun weekend ahead of us! Our pool is opening tomorrow, and our neighborhood is having a big party. Sully will soon start learning how to swim! You know Mommy and Daddy are excited to see how Sullivan reacts in the pool. Future Michael Phelps?? hehehe

A Busy Weekend for Sullivan!

We had a very busy weekend!! We had playgroup on Friday, the March of Dimes 6.2 mile walk on Saturday morning, lots of fun playing with Sully's toys, exploring the grass for the first time, playing on our new swing on the front porch, and lots of fun in the yard planting flowers and taking care of the lawn! Sullivan had a very fun weekend!

Sully loved the ball! It played music and sang the alphabet. Sullivan is so intelligent!! hehe

Sullivan loves dogs, and Tucker is one of his favorite dogs to chill out with. We were over at Malley's house today and took some cute pictures of Sullivan and Tucker.

March of Dimes Walk!
On Saturday morning, Brett, Sullivan and I participated in the March of Dimes walk for premature babies. We walked 6.2 miles! We had a great morning and Sullivan was a very good boy! It was Sullivan's first community service activity! Thanks to Grancie and Gramps, Auntie Kelli, Mnee and PupPup, and Catey for sponsoring our family! We raised a lot of money for a great cause! Here we are after the walk! It rained in the beginning, so we did get a little wet, but by the end of the walk, it was beautiful!

And, last but not least...the highlight of Sullivan's weekend was his new swing! We all took a trip to Lowe's yesterday and bought Sully a swing for the front porch. Daddy put it up yesterday and Sullivan LOVES it! Sully has swung many times already! What a fun addition to our home!

Happy Easter!

We all had a great Easter weekend! Sullivan met his grand aunt and Uncle from PA and he got lots of fun toys in his Easter basket! We had beautiful weather, so we were outside a lot of the weekend. It was hard for Brett to go back to work today! We hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! Here are some cute pictures of Sullivan visiting the Easter Bunny. Enjoy!

Sullivan had a terrific time visiting the Easter Bunny! He laughed and giggled! From the looks of that smile, he could have sat there all day with his new friend!! Sullivan is not afraid to smile big for the camera!!!

Sullivan playing with his friends!

Sully has made many friends since we have moved to Atlanta! Two of his best buds are Malley and Brayden. We all go walking together almost every day!! Sullivan has the best time playing with his pals! Here are some fun pictures of Sully playing!



Brayden is 4 months old and Sully is 8 months old! Sully looks so big!!!

Malley is almost 6 months. They aren't very interested in each other right now...

But, now they are holding hands! How sweet!


Sully has teeth!!!
Sullivan's teeth broke through his gums about 2 weeks ago! Now, they have grown so we can see them. Sullivan is still very shy about showing them off, so we had to play with his mouth to get a picture. Hopefully, one of these days, Sully will smile sporting his new pearly whites!
